Suzuki to stop importing 2 GM Chevrolet models
TOKYO July 7, 2006; Japan Today reported that Suzuki Motor Corp said Thursday it will stop importing two General Motors Corp's Chevrolet models. The two models — the TrailBlazer sport-utility vehicle and the Optra Wagon — have been marketed through Suzuki's dealerships in Japan.
Since GM sold off the bulk of its stake in Suzuki in March, the Japanese firm has been considering what to do with the stagnant sales of some GM cars.
