Car Crashes Leading Cause of Death Among Teens, Racecar Drivers Offer Safety Tips - VIDEO ENHANCED STORY
DETROIT - July 6, 2006: An estimated 16 U.S. teenagers die every day due to automobile accidents, according to a General Motors spokesperson. To help reduce this number and keep teens on a straight and safe course, NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. and racecar driver Andy Pilgrim have created a safety video. In the video, “The Driving Zone,” both drivers emphasize the need to focus on driving and how to handle distractions such has passengers, cell phones and loud music.
