	  Lawn Mower Racing Coming July 29th to Local Community

West Sand Lake, NY:  The local community in Upstate New York is proud to 
announce a return engagement of the Northeast Lawn Mower Racing Organization 
Sanctioned Event schedule for July 29th, 2006.

This rural Renessalear County Village of West Sand Lake, located just 7 
miles east of Albany New York, is proud to bring you this event presented by 
the West Sand Lake SUMC and the WSL Volunteer Fire Department. This is the 
first of 2 scheduled visits to the area by the NLMRO.

The location is directly behind the Salem United Methodist Church located at 
349 Shaver Road, West sand Lake, NY.  The SUMC is easy to find; just off 
State Route 150 heading south from State Route 43 in WSL.

The event, scheduled for Saturday July 29th, 2006 is expected to attract 
more than 50 modified racing Lawn Mowers, as well as a huge crowd.  The 
“Gates” open at 3:00pm; sanctioned racing is set to begin at 4:00pm.

There will also be Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Sausage & Peppers, and other items 
available, so bring the whole family for a great night of fun.  A small 
donation of $2.00 for Adults, children under 12 are FREE, and Parking is 
Free too!

The NLMRO consists of approximately 60 members, which promote the sport of 
Lawn Mower Racing here in the Northeast.  They currently race at just 3 
locations throughout the summer; Hillview Tavern in Esperance, NY, South 
Minden Fire Department, in South Minden, NY, and in West Sand Lake.  The 
Organization was establish in 1999, and was recognized as a corporation in 
2001.  There are seven (7) different racing divisions; Lawn Legal, Jr. Small 
Block Stock, Sr. Small Block Stock, Big Block Stock, Superstock, Modified, 
and Super Modified.
