KANATA, Ontario, July 5 -- TireStamp's Chairman and CEO Scott Feagan is pleased to announce that Peggy J. Fisher has accepted the position of President of its US operations effective immediately. Peggy is recognized as North America's leading independent truck tire and wheel expert.

For the past 20 years Peggy has held senior positions and been a consultant to leading commercial fleet operators and tire manufacturers. She was President of Roadway Tire Company, a retreading operation for 8 years and Manager of Tire, Trailer, and Dolly Maintenance for Roadway Express for 11 years during which time she was responsible for the maintenance of 28,000 trailers, 4,000 dollies and almost 200,000 tires and wheels. Peggy is among the leaders of the Technology & Maintenance Council of the American Trucking Association having served as General Chairman and Treasurer and chaired its Tire & Wheel Study Group for 10 years. She currently chairs two Tire & Wheel Task Forces. She is also active in tire industry associations. She served as a Director of the International Tire & Rubber Association for 7 years and currently serves as Vice President of the Tire Industry Association. She has also served as a Director of the Tire Retread Information Bureau from 1995 to 1998 and has been a full member of the Society of Automotive Engineers since 1983.

The Maintenance Council's Peggy J. Fisher Award for Excellence in Study Group Leadership, which was awarded to her in 1986, is named for her. She also holds the coveted Silver Spark Plug Award for her contributions to improving heavy-duty vehicles, their maintenance and maintenance management and TMC's Recognized Associate Award for her dedicated service to the Council. Peggy holds a BS and an MBA degree from Kent State University.

TireStamp has completed three years of research and development, product testing and fleet trials on its TireVigil(TM) tire monitoring and tire asset management products. In 2006 it established a North American sales organization and already has secured some of the largest fleets and tire manufacturers as customers and is working with numerous fleets that are evaluating their products prior to fleet wide deployments.

"The addition of Peggy to lead our US operation is another step in the growth of TireStamp and a strong signal that our TireVigil(TM) products have caught the attention of commercial fleet operators," said Feagan. "Peggy's management and tire experience combined with her executive knowledge of the automotive and commercial fleet markets in the USA will add significant direction and momentum to our growth plans."
