3 Sanctions Involved at USAC RACES Stockton Saturday
Drivers from the California Asphalt Sprintcar Association and the Bay Cities Racing Association will challenge top USAC drivers in Saturday's final USAC events at the storied Stockton 99 Speedway in California.
The Sprint race, co-sanctioned by USAC and CASA, features USAC and CASA point leader Tony Hunt as well as defending USAC champion Kody Swanson and reigning 2-time CASA champion Nick Rescino, Jr. In the Midgets it'll be defending USAC champion and 2006 point leader Jerome Rodela challenged by defending BCRA champ John Sarale, 2006 point leader Travis Berryhill and seven-time champ Floyd Alvis.
Of the aforementioned drivers, Hunt (Sprints and Midgets), Rescino (Sprints) and Rodela (Midgets) are former Stockton USAC winners, while Tim Barber, Brian McClish and Alex Harris, also former USAC Stockton feature winners, are also expected to be in action.
There are 30-lap Midget and 50-lap Sprint feature events on tap to conclude Saturday's racing program at the 1/4-mile paved oval.
