EXTRA RACES SCHEDULED FOR REGIONAL, KENYON MIDGETS THIS WEEK

COLUMBUS, Ohio – USAC’s Regional and Kenyon Midget Car Series divisions will
have the opportunity to compete more than once this week as they make trips
to outside their respective “Wednesday Night Thunder” schedules.

In addition to this Wednesday’s Midget tripleheader at Anderson (Ind.)
Speedway, the Regional Midgets spawn north to the out-of-state venue of
Grundy County Speedway in Morris, Ill. for their second race of the season
there.

Scott Thoman leads the Regional points heading into Anderson.

Chris Windom, who goes for five straight Kenyon feature victories Wednesday,
leads the points as the cars return to Anderson this Wednesday and again
Friday. Windom already has one victory at Anderson this season.

Zach Schiff continues to lead the Indiana Ford Focus Midget Car Series point
standings, which races only once this week (Wednesday at Anderson).

Rain forced the cancellation of last Wednesday’s edition of “Wednesday Night
Thunder” at Mt. Lawn Speedway in New Castle, Ind.
