MARTZ LEADS MIDWEST FORD FOCUS PAVEMENT SERIES TO KENTUCKY

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Tate Martz has won at least two Ford Focus races over each
of the last four seasons. However, none of them has come at Kentucky
Speedway.

Martz will try to erase that statistic Saturday as the USAC Midwest Ford
Focus Pavement Midget Car Series heads to the quarter-mile track located in
the 1.5-mile facility in Sparta, Ky. The race is part of the track’s NASCAR
Craftsman Truck Series weekend and is the third time the Focus cars share
the spotlight with the Trucks.

Martz, a two-time defending Midwest Focus champion, leads the Midwest
Pavement points by 54 over James Robertson after winning two of the last
three races in series competition.
