Porsche Cars North America Reports June Sales for Canada
ATLANTA--July 3, 2006--Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (PCNA), importer and distributor of Porsche sports cars and Cayenne SUVs in the United States and Canada, today announced retail sales in Canada for June totaled 187, a decrease of 15%. Year-to-date sales are 1,109 versus the same period when sales were 1,140."You need to remember that 2005 was a record year for Porsche in Canada when comparing this year to last year," said PCNA President and CEO Peter Schwarzenbauer. "Still, with new products such as the 911 Turbo and the upcoming base Cayman, we will seek to challenge 2005's good overall results. The second half of the year will be an exciting time for our brand in Canada."
