NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series, Sunday from Lebanon Valley Dragway

ARAGONA AND BARTON CELEBRATE IN THE WINNER'S CIRCLE
 
            WEST LEBANON, NY. - The final results are in from the NHRA
Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series being held this weekend at Lebanon Valley
Dragway.  Comp Eliminator driver, Frank Aragona, took home a trophy,
while David Barton found the winner's circle in Super Stock.
Aragona of Old Bridge, N.J., outran the field with a pass of 8.499
seconds in his '32 Bantam.  Sal Biondo of Maspeth, N.Y., couldn't' keep
up with Aragona finishing second in his '93 Beretta. 
            In Super Stock, Barton of Robesonia, Pa., made a pass of
9.004 seconds at 147.75 mph to beat Mark LaBrecque of W. Springfield,
Mass.
            Lee Zane of Perry Hall, Md., finished on top in Stock
Eliminator driving a '73 Apollo with a pass of 12.017 seconds.  Zane
defeated Anthony Fetch of Belleville, N.J.
In Super Comp, Mike Sullivan of Peabody, Mass., took home a trophy with
a pass of 8.891 seconds at 163.63 mph defeating Kent Hanley of Newtown,
Conn.
            Tom Stalba Jr. of Williamstown, N.J., finished first in
Super Gas driving a '63 Corvette, while Joe Urbino of Alden, N.Y., won
in Super Street driving a '78 Malibu and making a pass of 10.895
seconds.
            In the Foxwood Top Sportsman category, Ron Riegel of
Fairless Hills, Pa., was the big winner making a pass of 7.858 seconds
at 169.83 mph.              
            Northeast Division racers head next to Virginia Motorsports
Park, in Petersburg, Va., for the next NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series
