First Leg of Triple Crown Complete, 25 Drivers Take June Sprints(r) Wins
ELKHART LAKE, Wis. (June 29, 2006) - Twenty-five of Sports Car Club of America's top drivers came away from the June 24-25 Chicago Region June Sprints(r) at Road America with the first leg of what could become their 2006 Triple Crown, which also includes winning their respective divisional title and a win at this October's SCCA National Championship Runoffs(r).
The SCCA Triple Crown is considered one of the crowning achievements for a Club Racer who elects to compete in the June Sprints, whether they are from the host Central Division, or travel from their home region.
