When: Sunday, July 2, 2006

Bryan Herta on the Kansas Lottery Indy 300:
"At Kansas, you've got to have a fast race car, good pit stops and you've got to have good strategy.
Unfortunately it doesn't look like we'll see as much side-by-side racing at Kansas as we've had in the past.
Things seemed to have changed a little bit with the cars and we don't seem to be able to do that as much.
We've been struggling on tracks like Kansas all season and if we are going to turn our season around, we're
going to have to do it on tracks like this. I know the guys are working really hard to try and give us better
cars on the bigger tracks."
Bryan Herta Facts
Herta's first IndyCar Series win came at Kansas Speedway in 2003 in only his third start for AGR.
In three previous starts at Kansas, Herta's best qualifying effort was ninth in 2004.
He is currently in ninth place in the IndyCar Series driver championship, 11 points out of seventh place.
He collected a sixth-place finish at the most recent IndyCar Series race in Richmond.
Herta tallied a fourth-place result at the Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg, his best 2006 finish.
Herta garnered the first IndyCar Series win for XM Satellite Radio and the second of his IndyCar
Series career at Michigan in 2005.
Herta led 159 of 200 laps at Michigan in 2005, the most laps led by any driver in one race during 2005.

George Klotz, Team Manager,
#7 XM Satellite Radio Dallara/Honda/Firestone on the Kansas Lottery Indy 300:
"I'm looking forward to going to Kansas and building momentum off of our finish at Richmond. It
wasn't the finish we were hoping for, but the XM Satellite Radio team gained some points in the
championship and it gives us a foundation for the rest of the season. We hope that our performance during
the race is better than it was at the test. We've been working hard and hopefully it will pay off."
