DALLAS--June 27, 2006--lanelogic, the Wall Street inspired used vehicle trade network, announces the addition of 500 dealerships. New dealerships joining lanelogic are in the Midwest, Northeast, and Northwest regions and can except to begin trading by the end of this summer.Signed dealers who are not within the initial target regions opening this summer can look forward to joining the trade network later this year. Thousands of dealers have registered with lanelogic to eliminate trade-in and aging vehicle risk, as well as receive a constant supply of their best performing units. Dealer regions open when minimum dealer trading capacity is met and inspection and transportation agents are assigned.
With dealers filling target regions, lanelogic is quickly opening new geographic areas across the nation. Some of the major trade regions opening this summer include St. Louis, Indianapolis, Detroit, Minneapolis, and Kansas City.
lanelogic uses data from the nation's leading automotive resources to bid and trade vehicles within specific geographic regions. Dealers have the ability to trade a vehicle or keep it with limited risk via a Put Bid. If a dealer has accepted a lanelogic bid and would like to trade the vehicle, the vehicle is redistributed within their trade region to a dealer location where it is most likely to sell quickly for optimal profit.
lanelogic launched its first pilot trading region in Texas and Oklahoma. Over Memorial Day weekend, lanelogic processed record volume amounting to more than 13.6 million in bid requests. Dealers receive lanelogic bids within five minutes or less by specialized Trade Analyst on lanelogic's trade floor. During the record weekend, lanelogic bids were processed every 90 seconds with the average active dealer requesting five bids a day. Dealers in the opening regions can expect the same benefits and timely services.
