Prism Business Media Acquires Transportation Technical Services, Inc., Leading Source of Trucking Industry Data and Publisher of FleetSeek.com
NEW YORK--June 26, 2006--Prism Business Media Inc. today announced the acquisition of the assets of Transportation Technical Services, Inc. (TTS), a leading trucking industry data source. TTS produces widely used trucking industry database/directory resources and operates FleetSeek(R), a customized Web vertical search engine providing detailed information on more than 200,000 trucking operations in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.TTS, a privately held, 23-year-old data and research firm, gathers, develops, and analyzes detailed information on trucking operations for use by the wide range of companies that market products and/or services to the industry. In addition to FleetSeek, TTS currently produces eight major database/directory products, as well as 30 targeted versions of these products. The firm also conducts independent industry research and analysis surveys.
TTS customers include major truck manufacturers and suppliers to the trucking industry; as well as transportation logistics companies, banks, insurance companies, financial firms and industry analysts.

TTS will become part of Prism's truck and auto group which includes Fleet Owner(R) and Ward's and will be rebranded as FleetSeek. Current TTS head Ron Roth will continue to manage operations. A 17-year employee of TTS, Roth previously served as director of industry research and statistics for the American Trucking Associations. He will report to Prism Group Publisher Tom Duncan. The group will continue to be based at its present location in Fredericksburg, Va.
