Elbit Vision Systems Ltd. Announces the Introduction of the IQ-TEX, a New System for Web Inspection

YOQNEAM, Israel--June 26, 2006--Elbit Vision Systems, Ltd. (OTCBB:EVSNF), a leading provider of automatic optical inspection and quality monitoring systems, today announced that it has introduced the IQ-TEX, a new Automatic Optical Inspection system for industrial web applications.

The new IQ-TEX is based on the integration of the newly acquired Smart Video Camera technology into the I-TEX platform. The IQ-TEX is a compact, powerful and flexible product, and can operate at a speed of 800 meters per minute.
