Andretti to Start Fifth in NYSE Car at Richmond

RICHMOND, Va. (June 23, 2006) - Marco Andretti and the #26 NYSE car will start from the
fifth position for Saturday night's running of the SunTrust Indy Challenge Presented by XM Satellite
Radio after rain cancelled qualification attempts at Richmond International Raceway and the field was
set based on practice times recorded during Friday's practice sessions.
The seventh event of the 2006 IndyCar Series season is set to go green at 8:15 p.m. (EDT)
Saturday, June 24, with ESPN2 providing live broadcast coverage of the 250-lap event beginning at
8 p.m. (EDT). The race may also be heard on XM Satellite Radio on XM channel 145.

Marco Andretti, #26 NYSE Dallara/Honda/Firestone:
"To be honest, I had to qualify early and I think the track was only getting better. I think maybe
we would have ended up a little worse than fifth. Who knows? I'm happy to be in fifth. In practice, the
NYSE car has been great and very comfortable. I think we'll have a good car underneath us and I think
we can win the race."
