Ernst & Young Names Craig Jackson Regional 'Entrepreneur of the Year'

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.--June 23, 2006--Craig Jackson, president and CEO of the Barrett-Jackson Auction Co., LLC., has captured the Ernst & Young "Entrepreneur of the Year" award for the Business Services category in the Arizona/Orange County region. Jackson, the only individual in the car collector auction community to have earned this honor, was recognized for his leadership during a banquet on June 20, 2006, at the Hyatt Regency Irvine in California. He is now eligible for the National EOY Award, which will be presented this fall.

Founded by Tom Barrett and Russ Jackson in 1971, Craig Jackson took over leadership of the company after the untimely death of his brother, Brian, who had been managing the company, 10 years ago.

In 2001, the City of Scottsdale Area Business Chamber Alliance honored Jackson with the Sterling Award for his innovation, quality, professionalism and a commitment to community projects. In 2006, Motor Trend named Jackson one of the "50 Most Influential People in the Automotive Industry."
