PRUETT TO PULL DOUBLE-DUTY ON MID-OHIO WEEKEND

LEXINGTON, Ohio (June 23, 2006) - Scott Pruett will perform double duty June
23-25, making the switch from sports cars to stock cars to compete not only
in the EMCO Gears Classic presented by KeyBank at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course
in Lexington, Ohio, but also in the first NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series road race
of the season, the Dodge/Save Mart 350 at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma,
California.

Pruett, the 2004 Grand American Rolex Sports Car Series presented by Crown
Royal Special Reserve Daytona Prototype co-champion will pilot the No. 01
CompUSA Chip Ganassi Racing Lexus-Riley during the EMCO Gears Classic
presented by KeyBank and the No. 40 Coors Light Dodge entry for the Cup
race.

Teaming for the second straight year with co-driver Luis Diaz in the CompUSA
Chip Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates No. 01 Lexus-Riley, the duo currently
leads the Rolex Series team point standings on the strength of three wins
and two poles in eight races.

With the commitment to the Infineon NASCAR weekend, Pruett will commute back
and forth from Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course where he'll compete Saturday
evening in the EMCO Gears Classic presented by Key Bank.

Pruett is no stranger to NEXTEL Cup racing, with 37 career starts under his
belt. He has had six road racing starts over the past five seasons for
Ganassi, producing three top-five and four top-10 finishes.

"The relationship I've had with Chip and the whole Ganassi organization over
the past few years has been outstanding, and I love the balance of running
the Rolex Series with the NEXTEL Cup races," Pruett said. "We've had a lot
of success this season in the Daytona Prototypes already, but a personal
goal of mine has always been to get a NASCAR win under my belt. It will
definitely be a hectic weekend traveling back and forth from Ohio to Sonoma,
but I'm up for the challenge. Let's go racing."

The eleventh round of the 2006 Grand American Rolex Sports Car Series is the
EMCO Gears Classic presented by KeyBank, scheduled for 5:30 p.m. EST on June
24 in Lexington, Ohio. It will be broadcast June 25 at 3:00 p.m. EST on
SPEED. Qualifying is set for 4:25 p.m. EST on June 23 at Mid-Ohio Sports
Car Course.

Also featured throughout the weekend will be several support races including
the Grand Am Cup Series, BMW CCA Club Racing and SCCA Pro Racing Sirius
Satellite Radio Mazda MX-5 Cup presented by Hankook.

Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course is a permanent road racing circuit with two
primary configurations: a 2.4-mile, 15-turn, and a 2.25-mile, 13-turn
