THE GLEN SET TO REPAVE KEY AREAS OF TRACK

THE GLEN SET TO REPAVE KEY AREAS OF TRACK

Paving to Begin October 2, 2006

Watkins Glen, NY (June 22, 2006) - Watkins Glen
International President Craig Rust announced today that portions of The
Soul of American Road Racing will be repaved this fall. This is the
first time that the track will shut down operations early to make track
enhancements, in more than 10 years.

"This is part of our on-going capital improvement plan at The Glen,"
stated Rust. "Over the past several years we have been able to enhance
the quality of racing for our stakeholders including; race fans,
drivers, and the various series that compete here."

The track will undergo a series of improvements including the milling
and repaving of Turn 1, also considered the 'Ninety', Turn 5 or the
'carousel', and Turn 6, the first turn going into the extended 3.4 mile
Grand Prix course, or the Boot. Some of the paving will address issues
concerning emanate water and drainage along the concrete sections of the
racing surface.

Each year the track opens for the season in the early spring beginning
on TOYOTA Opening Day and ending on or about, October 31st. When the
facility isn't hosting a spectator event, the race track is typically
rented to various sports car clubs and groups each day. This year the
track has worked very closely with these groups in order to accommodate
the planned improvements this fall. Improvements are scheduled to be
completed in 2006, weather permitting.

Tickets for the remaining 2006 race season at The Glen are still
available. Don't miss the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series and Busch Series
races this August 11-13. The Zippo 200 returns for a second time with
the cars and stars of the NEXTEL Cup Series and the Crown Royal 200
Rolex Sports Car Series on Friday. Tickets can be obtained by calling
866-461-RACE, by stopping by The Shop, located at 2 North Franklin
Street in downtown Watkins Glen, NY or at the WGI ticket office located
on the old Bronson Hill Road off of County Rte. 16.
