Overwhelming Interest in Global Student Car Design Competition
LONDON, June 22 -- More than 650 students have registered for the 2006 Interior Motives Design Awards, representing over 200 design colleges/universities from 68 countries across the globe.
Now in its 4th year, this year's Interior Motives Design Awards has attracted the highest number of interest in the event's history. The students' entries will be judged by a panel of senior design figures, the Who's Who in automotive design.

A shortlist of entries will be announced in the September/October issue of Interior Motives magazine, organizer of the awards ceremony which will be held at 'La Galerie', Paris, France on September 29, to coincide with the Paris Motor Show. The awards ceremony itself starts with an exclusive media viewing between 5pm and 7pm, giving journalists the opportunity to interview the finalists and preview their work.
This is followed at 7pm by a cocktail reception, offering all guests an opportunity to view the entries and meet their creators, as well as to catch up with industry colleagues. The presentation of the awards will follow, during which the winners of the nine categories and the overall winner will be announced. This is followed by a buffet dinner, live music and dancing.
