NASCAR Top 10 Driver Availability

NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series Top 10 Driver 

Media Availability

Infineon Raceway

June 23-25

 

SONOMA, Calif. - NASCAR will make the top 10 drivers in NEXTEL Cup
Series points available each race weekend outside the drivers' haulers
to visit with the media.  The sessions will typically last approximately
20 minutes.  

 

NASCAR also will incorporate additional drivers into this schedule
should there be an interesting angle the media may be interested in.
This week, we have included Terry Labonte and Tony Raines, both of whom
have driven the No. 96 DLP HDTV Chevrolet this season, and David
Gilliland, who won last Saturday's NASCAR Busch Series race at Kentucky
Speedway and will attempt to qualify for his first ever NASCAR NEXTEL
Cup Series race this weekend at Infineon by driving the No. 72 Dutch
Quality Store Dodge.

9:45 a.m. - Kasey Kahne (No. 9 Dodge Dealers/UAW Dodge), 3rd in points,
Driver's Lounge Press Conference

10:30 a.m.  - Jeff Burton (No. 31 Cingular Wireless Chevrolet), 7th in
points 

11 a.m. - Mark Martin (No. 6 AAA Ford), 5th in points 

11:30 a.m. - Denny Hamlin (No. 11 FedEx Chevrolet), 9th in points 

2:05 p.m.  - Dale Earnhardt, Jr. (No. 8 Budweiser Chevrolet), 4th in
points 

2:20 p.m. - David Gilliland (No. 72 Dutch Quality Store Dodge)

2:30 p.m. - Terry Labonte/Tony Raines (No. 96 DLP HDTV Chevrolet)

2:45 p.m. - Jimmie Johnson (No. 48 Lowe's Chevrolet), 1st in points 

3:15 p.m. - Greg Biffle (No. 16 National Guard/Charter Ford), 10th in
points 

  

Note:   Tony Stewart (No. 20 Home Depot Chevrolet), 6th in points will
be available following his qualifying lap either in the media bullpen
(if he qualifies inside the top five, or at his garage stall if he
doesn't).  Qualifying begins Friday at 4:05 p.m.

 

Note:  Kevin Harvick (No. 29 GM Goodwrench Chevrolet), 8th in points
will be available following his qualifying lap either in the media
bullpen (if he qualifies inside the top five, or at his garage stall if
