Trilogy Names Advertising Executive to Lead New Initiatives

AUSTIN, Texas, June 21 -- Trilogy, a leader in enterprise business solutions, recently added a leading advertising and marketing executive to apply Trilogy's proven techniques to the marketing world.

Linda Thomas Brooks is Trilogy's new Executive Director of Media and Marketing. She is former Executive Vice President/Managing Director of General Motors Mediaworks/General Motors Cyberworks, a dedicated agency representing all General Motors divisions in creating powerful multi-media opportunities and consolidated traditional and new media buying services.

"Linda brings a unique set of skill and successes, which will be a great pairing with Trilogy's long-standing client partnerships," said Scott Brighton, Trilogy's Director of Business Development. "Her expertise will create services in a segment where clarity of corporate and product positioning and voice has been challenged by new media and technologies."

"I believe Trilogy's technologies can bring truly new opportunities within the marketing continuum," Brooks said. "I joined Trilogy because of its matchless ability to quickly bring such opportunities to market."

At GM Mediaworks since 1994, Brooks oversaw GM's media-negotiating unit for magazine, newspaper and interactive media in addition to the unit responsible for managing media relationships in new technologies for General Motors. She also led the team that served as a resource for GM's business units and the entire roster of divisional marketing and advertising agencies. Before GM, Brooks was an executive for several advertising and media agencies.

During her career, Brooks made significant contributions to her profession and industry and became broadly recognized for her achievements. The American Advertising Federation named her to its Advertising Hall of Achievement, and she was selected in 2000 as one of the "100 Leading Women in the North American Auto Industry" by Automotive News. Crain's Detroit Business named her to its list of Most Influential Women. She is a past president of The Adcraft Club of Detroit, the nation's largest and oldest local advertising club. Brooks is also on the Boards of the Ohio State University Alumni Association and the American Advertising Federation. She completed a term on the Board of the Audit Bureau of Circulations.
