TI Automotive Unit Wins Toyota Silver Supplier Award

BANGALORE, India, June 21 -- TI Automotive's subsidiary in India has received a Silver Supplier of the Year Award from Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) Corp. for its outstanding performance in quality, delivery and value improvement in supplying parts and materials.

The award was presented at a recent supplier meeting in Bangalore.

Toyota Motor Corp. owns 89 percent of TKM, a joint-venture company that was established in 1997 with the Kirloskar Group. TKM is based in Bangalore, the capital of the state of Karnataka in southern India.

"We are especially honored to have been recognized by Toyota Kirloskar with this prestigious award," said Ravi Babu, managing director of TI Automotive India, who accepted the award. "The award demonstrates TI Automotive's determination to deliver high-quality products to our customers."
