Turbine Truck Engines Announces Potential Joint Venture

DELAND, Fla.--June 21, 2006--Turbine Truck Engines, Inc. (TTE) (OTCBB:TTEG), the exclusive licensee for U.S. Patent #6,000,214, the "Detonation Cycle Gas Turbine Engine" (DCGT), announces a potential joint venture with a major $5 billion worldwide transportation company to manufacture heavy duty highway truck engines.

Based on test data in the patent from 4 DCGT prototype engines, when commercialized, the air cooled, lightweight, flex-fueled engine will utilize up to 30% less fuel than today's engines; operate on ethanol, gasoline, diesel, propane, or hydrogen; have cold start capabilities with any fuel; produce 30% less emissions and greenhouse exhaust gases; and operate without lube oil, filters or pumps.

Recently on CNBC, the CEO of Conway Trucking stated that a 1% decrease in operating cost results in several million dollars annual savings for his company. The DCGT Engine has the potential of saving trucking companies 30% of fuel and maintenance cost.
