AUBURN, IN - June 20, 2006: The Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum has announced that a 1936 Cord 810 Westchester Sedan and a 1929 Chrysler Imperial Roadster, both listed at low reserves, have been added to the live automobile auction during the First Annual Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum Benefit Extravaganza.

The Cord is one of only 401 Westchester Sedans produced with a bustle trunk. The Chrysler is fitted with a Locke body and is a former CCCA and AACA senior winner.

Also included in the auction will be a 1930 Auburn Speedster and a 1976 Cadillac Eldorado Bicentennial Convertible at NO RESERVE! The Auburn Speedster was the recipient of a body-off restoration. The Cadillac Eldorado has only 32 actual miles on the odometer! Four more automobiles will be added to the live automobile auction in late July. Bill Parfet will serve as the celebrity auctioneer and will be accompanied by celebrity ringmen Robert Pass, Ed Herrmann, Dean Kruse and Ed Lucas.

The cars being offered at the museum benefit are not part of the museum's permanent collection. The benefit will take place in one of the finest classic car museums in the world, the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum on Thursday, August 31 at 6 p.m.

Other evening activities include drinks, hors d'oeuvres, a gourmet dinner, live music, after-hours museum touring, a silent auction, and a live auction including automotive art featuring premium pieces from the nation's finest automobile artists. The First Annual Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum Benefit Extravaganza will be an evening that classic car enthusiasts do not want to miss.

A limited number of tickets are available at $100 per person. Proceeds benefit the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum. Call Jan Schippers to reserve your tickets at (260) 925-1444.
