RE: Justin Henderson
For Immediate Release:
Henderson, top
ten streak at 3!
(6/19/2006 Sioux Falls, SD) So far the World of Outlaws has been an up and
down one for Kevin Gobrecht Rookie of the Year contender, Justin Henderson.
The team has been searching for consistency all year and it looks like they
may be on track to finding it. This past week the Jolt Energy Gum/Protected
by Datadots #D1 Schnee had 3 top ten finishes with the best of the 3 coming
at Fargo on Saturday night with a finish of 6th. It is definitely a
momentum builder and it could not have come at a better time as the team
heads into Knoxville this weekend.
Henderson is currently sitting 9th in the driver points and has gained quite
a bit of ground with his strong runs this past week. With the time between
heading to Beaver Dam the team built a new car and dropped in a new
Hollywood Powerplant. So far the combination seems to be clicking.
"Yeah this was a good week." Said Henderson. "We have really been
inconsistent the first quarter of the season. Our qualifying has been
strong all year but we just have not had the race finishes we wanted. We
made some changes when we built this car and so far so good. We really had
a great car Saturday night, I just had a bad start and had to work hard to
come forward from 10th. We used up our tires doing that, but we really
closing at the finish. There is no doubt that these runs have given us
momentum heading to Knoxville this weekend. The regulars there are tough
and there may even be some travelers there as well. I welcome the challenge
and think we can get some good finishes."
