HONEYWELL CONSUMER PRODUCTS GROUP EXTENDS
MULTI-LEVEL SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM WITH NHRA
GLENDORA, Calif. (June 19, 2006) - Honeywell Consumer Products Group has
extended its partnership with NHRA, it was announced today by NHRA
officials. In the contract extension agreement, Honeywell has renewed
two official sponsorships and will continue its title sponsorship of a
popular event in the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series.
As part of the multi-tiered contract, FRAM* automotive filters has
extended its partnership as the Official Filter of NHRA, while sister
brand Prestone* will continue its status as the Official
Antifreeze/Coolant of NHRA.
As NHRA official sponsors, the FRAM* and Prestone* brands will receive
visibility at all NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series events. As part of
the agreement, FRAM will maintain primary sponsorship of Cory
McClenathan's FRAM(r) Boost(tm) Top Fuel dragster. FRAM also will
continue its title sponsorship of the FRAM*-Autolite* NHRA Nationals,
July 28-30, 2006, an NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series event at Infineon
Raceway, Sonoma, Calif.
"Our partnership with the NHRA allows us to continue sponsoring the FRAM
Boost Top Fuel dragster and launch a new product simultaneously. We've
cut to the chase and gone direct to our target audience with this
product," said John King, FRAM Sr. Product Manager.
As the Official Antifreeze/Coolant of NHRA, Prestone also will receive
increased visibility at all NHRA POWERade Series events. As part of the
agreement, Prestone will continue its sponsorship association with Bob
Gilbertson's Funny Car team.

In addition, FRAM is an active associate sponsor for many NHRA
professional teams, including 13-time NHRA Funny Car world champion John
Force. FRAM also participates in NHRA's lucrative contingency program.
