Wheels, Inc. Wins Stevie(R) Award for Best Overall Company In 2006 American Business Awards(SM)

DES PLAINES, Ill., June 15 -- Wheels, Inc., a leader in the multi-billion-dollar fleet-leasing industry, today announced the company has won a Stevie Award for Best Overall Company in The 2006 American Business Awards.

The American Business Awards are the only national, all-encompassing business awards program honoring top workplace performances. Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word "crowned," the awards were presented during ceremonies on Monday, June 12 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City. The ceremonies were hosted by CNN business news anchor Ali Velshi, videocast live on the Internet and broadcast nationwide on radio.

"We are pleased and privileged to be honored as a Stevie winner," said Jim Frank, Wheels President and CEO. "We have an organization-wide commitment to understanding the needs of our clients and building ongoing programs that help them achieve measurable success. Everyone at Wheels appreciates this recognition of our dedication to doing what's right for the customer.

"As a leader in the fleet management services sector," Frank continued, "we're operating in an incredibly competitive industry and all our employees work hard to deliver premier services and innovative technology to our customers in the most cost-effective way possible."

Wheels was honored as Best Overall Company in the category of companies with up to 2,500 employees -- the largest group competing for any of the awards. Wheels was recognized based on its commitment to delivering premier customer service, satisfaction and measurable success. The company has consistently demonstrated fast response to customer needs with new products and services as well as the ability to leverage technology to enable business innovation. Wheels' success can be judged by the fact that the first client they signed after being founded in 1939 is still a client today and that many customers have worked with Wheels for more than 60 years.

More than 1,500 entries from companies of all sizes were submitted for consideration for a Stevie Award. Members of the Awards' Board of Distinguished Judges & Advisors and their staffs selected Stevie winners from among the Finalists. Finalists were chosen by business professionals nationwide during preliminary judging earlier this year.

Wheels joined leading companies across a wide range of industries in being named a Stevie Award winner. Other firms receiving top honors in a variety of categories included Microsoft Corporation, Northrup Grumman Corporation, CapitalOne, CareerBuilder.com and Honeywell International.
