Ferrari Touches Down In Venice: 12th World Store

VENICE, Italy - June 15, 2006; On Tuesday morning at nine a boat bearing the Venetian symbol (in homage to the city) left from Tronchetto dock with a Ferrari F2002 on board.

The Formula 1 single-seater made a sunset appearance in front of Palazzo Ducale in Piazza San Marco after a journey that is taking it along the Grand Canal to the Giudecca and the Arsenale. The car will remain on display until it is transported to the new Ferrari Store in via Mercerie San Marco 782. As in the other Prancing Horse Stores, the F2002 will be on show in the window.

The Store will be open to the public by the end of June, with official inauguration to be held in the first week of September.

The Venice Ferrari Store is the ninth official Prancing Horse outlet and the twelfth in the world. The latest Store comes after openings in Maranello, Rome, Milan, Las Vegas, Shanghai and Hangzhou and the Shops at Bologna, Milano Malpensa and Roma Fiumicino airports.

The new Store will be a point of reference for Ferrari fans. Inside, apparel, leather goods, luxury accessories, scale models and toys can be found. There is a complete range of products for clients of the marque, supporters and children.
