BUBBA TANNER CLASSIC SET FOR SATURDAY AT LEBANON VALLEY
DMC Racing Products to present 23-lap, $500 to win Pro Stock Special

ADAMS, MA - Bubba Tanner was one of the great Pro Stock competitors at the
Lebanon Valley Speedway. His fiery personality and hard driving style made
him a fan favorite any time the 23B set out on the track. Bubba passed away
this past winter after a long illness, but this Saturday, the Pro Stocks
will run an event in his honor; the Bubba Tanner Classic, presented by DMC
Racing Products.

The Pro Stocks will be running for a winner's check of $500 for the 23-lap
extra distance event. The class is arguably one of the most entertaining and
exciting races on any given Saturday night at the Valley. Veterans like
Langenback, Yetman, Crews and LaRochelle bump and bang with young guns such
as Corbin, Arnold, Casey, Cary, Middleton and others hoping to be the first
to the checkered flag.

"Bubba was always someone I loved to watch race when I was a kid growing
up," Bobby Chalmers, owner of DMC Racing Product said. "Then he became a
customer of ours here at DMC and I feel this is a great way to show some
appreciation to him for all the great races he put on at the Valley."

Several drivers competing in Saturday's event once competed against Bubba.
The ageless veteran, Jimmy Langenback, remembers fondly running against his
Pittsfield, MA neighbor.

"Bubba was a very competitive driver, probably one of the best natural
talents to come along during that era," Langenback said. "He became the man
to beat. I took great honor in winning the Dirt Legal event on Race of Kings
Weekend in the early 90's because Bubba was the man in the class at the
time."

There is hope that this will be an annual event, but every driver would love
to say they won the first Bubba Tanner Classic, presented by DMC Racing
Products.

"It would be an honor to say I won the first race in honor of Bubba,"
Langenback said. "He was just one of the best to come from our area, and I
cannot wait for the chance to run Saturday."
