AAIA Releases 2006 Employee Compensation Survey
Biennial Report Also Available on CD-ROM

BETHESDA, MD - June 13, 2006 - The 2006 edition of the Employee Compensation Survey, published by the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA), is now available in both print and electronic formats. This distributors-only survey offers a comprehensive guide to understanding compensation, incentive and benefit levels in aftermarket distribution.

The 156-page, two-volume report contains information on both executive and employee compensation, including salaries bonuses, commission, perks and benefits from AAIA and cross-industry firms. Breakouts for 23 different sales volume categories and more than 100 specific geographic areas are profiled.

"The survey will allow an Atlanta firm, for example, to compare its compensation package with other firms in the same market," said Kathleen Schmatz, AAIA president and CEO. "Similarly, firms interested in expanding their geographic coverage can compare wage rates in their existing markets to rates paid in territories they are considering."

The CD-ROM offers the same content as the printed report plus an Excel file of the cross-compensation data.

The 2006 Employee Compensation Survey and CD-ROM are available for $99 for AAIA members and $199 for non-members. To order by phone, call 301-654-6664, or order online at www.aftermarket.org.
