Hexion Specialty Chemicals To Raise Prices For Cardura E10P and Versatic Acids

COLUMBUS, Ohio--June 13, 2006--Hexion Specialty Chemicals announced today it will increase the prices of its Cardura and Versatic Acids prices globally effective June 15, 2006, or as contract terms allow. Hexion will increase prices for Versatic Acid grades by 100 Euro/mt., or 130 USD/mt. (equaling $0.06/lb.), and Cardura E10P will increase by 150 Euro/mt., or 200 USD/mt. (equaling $0.09/lb.).

"This price increase is necessary to recover continued high level of feedstock prices and is supported by the strong demand for our products," says Jorrit Klaus, Vice-President for Versatics Business.
