SCOTT LOOKING FOR RECORD FIFTH STRAIGHT CAROLINA/VIRGINIA FOCUS VICTORY

INDIANAPOLIS – Chase Scott hopes to extend his current winning streak to a
record five straight Saturday when the USAC Carolina/Virginia Ford Focus
Midget Car Series invades Shenandoah Speedway in Virginia for the first time
in 2006.

Scott, of Concord, N.C., won Saturday’s event at Hickory Motor Speedway in
North Carolina – his fourth straight – by leading 27 of the 35 laps on the
.363-mile oval.

Aron Oakley finished second, ahead of Mike Ward, who led the first eight
laps. Michael Sboro and Bradley Riethmeyer rounded out the Top 5.

Scott has now won a Ford Focus record 21 feature events.
