Bryan Herta, #7 XM Satellite Radio Dallara/Honda/Firestone
"I really have no idea where we're at right now for tomorrow night's race. We missed most of the first practice because of a gearbox problem and then we had a glitch in the car tonight. It just wasn't running right, so we spent the whole practice coming in and out of the pits trying to fix the problem. Unfortunately, I don't think we were able to really learn anything about what kind of car we have. I'm just really going to need to rely on my teammates."

(ON HIS GEARBOX PROBLEM)  "We had just done our installation lap. We had just put a brand new motor in. We just got up to speed and I came up on Danica. She was going really slow, Jeff Simmons slowed down and then pulled out right in front of me. They went two-wide, I slammed on the brakes and tried to downshift. Somehow the car went from fifth gear to second gear and over-revved the motor."
