DETROIT, Mich., June 7, 2006 - Detroit Mayor Kwame M. Kilpatrick will announce the 2006 Chrysler Jeep Superstores Detroit APBA Gold Cup hydroplane race today in an 10 a.m. news conference in his conference room. The event is July 14-16, 2006 on the Detroit River.
The launch announcement will be made jointly by Mayor Kwame M. Kilpatrick, Chrysler Jeep Superstores Advertising Association President Jim Schebil, and Detroit River Regatta Association President Bill Rands.
