RODELA CHASES BROWN TO VENTURA SATURDAY

 

 

            Defending USAC Western Midget Champion Jerome Rodela of El Monte, Calif. trails series point leader Tyler Brown of Norco, Calif. by only 23 points going into this Saturday night's race at the Ventura (Calif.) Raceway.

 

            A 30-lap feature is slated and the USAC California Dirt Ford Focuses will share the bill in the "doubleheader" program.

 

            Garrett Hansen and Robby Flock have won the two Ventura USAC Midget races so far this season. Hansen is currently fifth in the standings while Flock is just outside the top-10.
