NORTHEAST FOCUS MIDGETS ENDURE MORE SHOWERS

INDIANAPOLIS – Rain is fast becoming the enemy in USAC Northeast Ford Focus
Midget Car Series competition.

Mother Nature won another date with the series, postponing Friday’s race at
Chemung Speedrome in New York. It marked the third event in five races this
season rain caused a cancellation or postponement for the series.

The series’ next event will endure a double feature June 17 at Oswego
Speedway in New York, with a rescheduled feature from May 13 the first
feature on the card. The second feature was part of the initial 2006
schedule.

Ryan Osborne leads Ryan Smith by five points after the first two races of
the season.
