PPG Adds Third Olympic Interior Paint

PITTSBURGH--June 5, 2006--PPG Industries will expand its Olympic paint brand with the introduction next month of a third interior product.

The new Olympic paint will feature a 15-year warranty and more than 1,200 colors.

"We're delighted to expand our line of Olympic paints, providing customers with an even wider variety of high quality products, available at a wider range of prices," said Scott Sinetar, PPG's vice president of architectural coatings, North America.

PPG's two other interior paints are: Olympic premium paint, featuring a 25-year warranty, no volatile organic compounds and low odor, and Olympic FastHide paint, a contractor-quality product.

The newest Olympic paint, initially available at select Lowe's stores, supplements the Olympic line of interior and exterior paints, sold exclusively through the Charlotte, N.C.-based home-center chain.
