Kanaan, Team 7-Eleven to Start Second at Watkins Glen
WATKINS GLEN, N.Y. (June 3, 2006) - Team 7-Eleven driver Tony Kanaan will start from the outside of the front row in the #11 Team 7-Eleven Dallara/Honda/Firestone for Sunday's running of the IndyCar Series Watkins Glen Indy Grand Prix after rain cancelled qualification attempts and the field was set based on practice times recorded during Friday's practice sessions. The fifth event of the 2006 IndyCar Series season is set to go green at 3:45 p.m. (EDT) Sunday, June 4, with ABC Sports providing live broadcast coverage of the 60-lap event beginning at 3:30 p.m. (EDT). The race may also be heard on XM Satellite Radio on XM channel 145. Tony Kanaan, #11 Team 7-Eleven Dallara/Honda/Firestone: "We didn't really learn anything today. I scrubbed some race tires to take the shine off, but I don't think we learned anything that we can use for tomorrow. We'll keep an eye on the weather but I think the Team 7-Eleven car is very good this weekend and I love to drive in the rain.
