Andretti, NYSE Car to Start Third at Watkins Glen
WATKINS GLEN, N.Y. (June 3, 2006) - Marco Andretti and the #26 NYSE car will start from the third position for Sunday's running of the IndyCar Series Watkins Glen Indy Grand Prix after rain cancelled qualification attempts and the field was set based on practice times recorded during Friday's practice sessions. The fifth event of the 2006 IndyCar Series season is set to go green at 3:45 p.m. (EDT) Sunday, June 4, with ABC Sports providing live broadcast coverage of the 60-lap event beginning at 3:30 p.m. (EDT). The race may also be heard on XM Satellite Radio on XM channel 145. Marco Andretti, #26 NYSE Dallara/Honda/Firestone: "I'm definitely happy that things worked out like they did. I really believe that the NYSE car could have been in the top-six shootout had we qualified, but we might have ended up qualifying sixth instead of where we are at.
