Leading Freight Forwarder Reaches Mach 1 - Global Expansion

TEMPE, Ariz., June 1 -- Mach 1 Air Services, the industry's leading, privately held freight forwarder, announces its long-planned international expansion. The Arizona-based company has opened offices in Shanghai and Singapore, as well as Guadalajara, Mexico, and plans to open six more offices throughout China in Q3.

Jason Quagliata, Mach 1 vice president of global development, will lead the Asia operation. This summer, Quagliata also plans to open offices in Hong Kong, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Xiamen, Ningbo and Qingdao.

George Ochoa, president of Mach 1 Aero Servicios, the company's Mexican subsidiary, will lead the Guadalajara office with an experienced team of sales, operations and customer service personnel. This office will handle business in Guadalajara, Zapopan, Tlaquepaque, Tlajomulco, El Salto and Tonala, and will complement Mach 1 Aero Servicios' other facilities in Mexico City, Monterrey and Queretaro.

Collectively, Asian and Mexican revenues are forecasted to drive continued growth for Mach 1.
