Toyota Enhances Global Corporate Website; Videos Spotlight Toyota Production System and Expo Show

Tokyo, Japan, June. 01, 2006 - (JCN Newswire) - Toyota Motor Corporation
announced today new features on the "Toyota Motor
Corporation Global Site" intended to open wider the public's window on
Toyota and to make the site easier to use.

Capping off continuous improvements implemented since the latter half of
last year, additional changes that reflect today's widespread use of
broadband Internet have been made to both the English-language site
(www.toyota.co.jp/en/) and the Japanese-language site
(www.toyota.co.jp).

These changes include, among others, newly added content specific to the
English-language site to make it easier for more people around the world
to better understand Toyota; highlighted are Toyota's history and global
activities.

To open the public's window on Toyota wider, comments by those working
at the forefront of Toyota's engagements in various fields are being
added to supplement information related to Toyota's manufacturing
philosophy, advanced technologies and philanthropic activities.

The presentation of Toyota's manufacturing philosophy has also been
enhanced through the use of videos explaining in easy-to-understand
fashion the basics of the Toyota Production System.

Also accessible are video highlights from last year's mobility-themed
show at the Toyota Group Pavilion (approx. 6 min.) during the 2005 World
Exposition, Aichi, Japan, along with a graphical commentary on the
advanced technologies of the "i-unit" single-passenger concept vehicle
used in the show.
Enhancements have also been made to the global site's introduction of
Toyota's environmental initiatives and to its investor-information
section.

Greater user-friendliness comes not only in the form of increased audio
and video aids, but also through increased choices in RSS (Really Simple
Syndication) delivery (Japanese-language site only), providing users
instant notification of information updates according to area(s) of
interest.

By further improving the "Toyota Motor Corporation Global Site", TMC
intends to continue broadening the provision of information that can
increase the public's understanding of Toyota activities.
