Chrysler Group President and CEO Tom LaSorda to Host Mackinac Media Roundtable

WHO: Chrysler Group President and Chief Executive Officer Tom LaSorda.

WHAT: Media roundtable discussion with reporters attending the 2006 Mackinac Policy Conference. Following the roundtable, LaSorda will speak to a General Session of Detroit Regional Chamber's 2006 Mackinac Policy Conference.

LaSorda will discuss his General Session theme of "Fueling Michigan's Growth Engine: An Automotive Perspective."

The Chrysler Group continues to build on its strong strategy and aggressive product plan. Nevertheless, it faces economic and competitive forces that challenge U.S.-based automakers and Michigan businesses. LaSorda's speech will focus on how private initiatives combined with government policy can help drive a competitive future for the auto industry and for Michigan.
