TENNESSEE AUTO AUCTION NAMED AUCTION OF THE YEAR
BY REGIONAL ACCEPTANCE CORP.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Manheim's Tennessee Auto Auction was named the 2005
Auction of the Year by Regional Acceptance Corp., it was announced
today.
Regional Acceptance is a national automotive finance company with branch
locations in 16 states. This is the first year Regional Acceptance has
given the award.
"We are honored to receive Regional Acceptance's first Auction of the
Year Award," said Robin Treadway, general manager at Tennessee Auto
Auction. "We look forward to continuing to serve Regional Acceptance
with the best quality service we can provide."
Tennessee Auto Auction is one of 10 auctions and two remarketing firms
in the country that sell repossessed and recovered vehicles for Regional
Acceptance. In 2005, Tennessee Auto Auction sold more than 800
repossessed vehicles for Regional Acceptance.
"In today's auction market one of the most important factors is
recapturing a high percentage of vehicles in need of repossession," said
Neil Boardman, Regional Acceptance assistant vice president of recovery
and remarketing. "It is rare to find an auction that is able to combine
high recapture percentages with the type of quality service that
Tennessee Auto Auction provides."
Regional Acceptance based the award on a range of statistics and
percentages as well as the overall service that auctions provided.
