USAC Release - MARTZ LEADS MIDWEST FOCUS PAVEMENT SERIES TO IOWA; ANDERSON RACE RESCHEDULED

INDIANAPOLIS – USAC’s Midwest Ford Focus Pavement Midget Car Series returns
Friday at Hawkeye Downs Speedway in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Tate Martz will
continue his charge to win yet again on the quarter-mile.

Martz leads the points after winning the season opener at Columbus Motor
Speedway in Ohio. Martz won an event at Hawkeye Downs in 2004 en route to
his first Focus championship.

Heavy rain postponed Wednesday’s scheduled feature at Anderson Speedway in
Indiana to June 21, making it part of the “Wednesday Night Thunder”
tripleheader at the quarter-mile.

Prior to the rain, Andy Baber II and Adam Kramer won heat races.
