NHRA NEWS: XPLOD SERIES FINAL RESULTS FROM TOPEKA, KAN.

 

PERSONETT FINISHES ON TOP AT THE NHRA SPORT COMPACT SUMMER NATIONALS

 

TOPEKA, Kan. - Brad Personett (Pro RWD) continued his winning ways at
the NHRA Sport Compact Summer Nationals at Heartland Park Topeka.

 

Personett gained his fourth win of the year by defeating Matt Scranton
in the final with a time of 6.52 seconds at 216.65 mph.  This was the
third time Personett and Scranton have met in the final round in 2006.
Personett has won all three.

 

The NHRA Xplod Sport Compact Racing Series continues at Bandimere
Speedway in Denver on June 10-11.
