Bryan Herta on the Indianapolis 500:
"There's so much history and tradition with the Indianapolis 500.  I think more than any other race,
it's probably the only single-race victory that means as much or more than a championship.  I think it's bigger
than winning a Daytona 500, bigger than winning Monaco in F1.  If you were going to win one race in your
entire career, I think most drivers, if you were honest, this would be the one you'd want to win."

Bryan Herta Facts
This will be Herta's fifth start in the Indianapolis 500.  He will start 16th, his best start at the famed track.
Herta's best finish at Indianapolis was a third-place result last year.  He finished fourth in 2004.
In his four Indianapolis 500-mile races, Herta has three top 10s and two top fives.
At Twin Ring Motegi, the most recent IndyCar Series event, he scored a fifth-place finish.
Herta tallied a fourth-place finish at the Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg on April 2.
Herta garnered the first IndyCar Series win for XM Satellite Radio and the second of his IndyCar
Series career at Michigan in 2005.
Herta led 159 of 200 laps at Michigan in 2005, the most laps led by any driver in one race during 2005.
Herta is one of only 22 drivers to win two or more races in IndyCar Series history.
Herta was the only driver in 2005 to claim pole positions on a road course (St. Petersburg), a short
oval (Phoenix) and a superspeedway (Michigan).
Herta has four career major open-wheel racing wins and 10 poles.
Herta's first IndyCar Series victory came at Kansas Speedway in 2003.

George Klotz, Team Manager,
#7 XM Satellite Radio Dallara/Honda/Firestone on the Indianapolis 500:
"I think the XM Satellite Radio team is stronger than it's ever been going into this race.  I'm sure
winning the Indianapolis 500 is something that everyone on the entire crew would like to do before they quit
doing this.  I think about it a lot, especially when we're here for the entire month of May, but I can't imagine
what it would feel like."
