Contingent Network Services Launches ILEX Enterprise Management System to ''Manage the Otherwise Unmanageable''

CINCINNATI--May 24, 2006--Contingent Network Services (www.contingent.net) answers the challenge of managing both client and internal growth with its own comprehensive and state of the art enterprise management system, ILEX, which integrates every activity in the organization--from the initial prospecting call, to defining the service level agreement, to scheduling and job tracking, through final invoicing--into one scalable platform. As Contingent's General Manager, Mark Stuhlreyer, stated, "ILEX allows us to manage the otherwise unmanageable process of directing hundreds or even thousands of daily engineering site visits throughout North America with unparalleled speed and accuracy."

"ILEX is a four-year effort to carefully construct a platform to allow Contingent to grow revenues aggressively without jeopardizing our reputation of stellar execution," Stuhlreyer said. "Having hundreds of concurrent activities for several hundred accounts with 4,000 field service partners requires an extraordinary commitment to detail. On-site, on scope and managing the service level agreement is critical. We looked at other enterprise management packages and decided not to sacrifice key elements of our work flow to fit into someone else's mold, we took an alternate path"

When a company manages hundreds of concurrent activities at hundreds of job sites, getting them all done correctly, on time and on budget is a major challenge. ILEX is a completely customized and automated system that allows Contingent to track more detail, scale at higher levels, and integrate with large enterprise accounts and tie directly into their existing systems. The commitment to this comprehensive management infrastructure began four years ago when Contingent's management team bought out the service division of a Dayton, Ohio-based manufacturer.

Early iterations of ILEX helped Contingent grow from $3.4 million in revenue in 2002 to over $8 million in 2005. With the new system fully operational, Contingent's aim is to elevate annual sales to the $25M level. ILEX is the lever to achieving that goal.

"ILEX gives us the tool to make a successful company very successful, and gives us the national scaling capability to compete with Tier 1 global providers," said Chad Mattix, Vice President for Corporate Development. "ILEX is the heart of Contingent."

Privately held and consistently profitable, Contingent manages some of the largest computer networking support engagements in the nation for major telecommunications companies, consumer goods manufacturers, retail store chains, and restaurant franchises.
