Infinity Property and Casualty Holds Annual Meeting of Shareholders
BIRMINGHAM, Ala., May 24, 2006 -- Infinity Property and Casualty Corporation today announced that at the company's annual shareholders' meeting on May 23, 2006 four directors were re-elected to the board. Other actions taken at the Annual Meeting included approval of the company's 2006 annual executive bonus plan and ratification of Ernst & Young LLP as Infinity's independent registered public accounting firm.
Re-elected for two year terms were James R. Gober, Chairman, President and CEO for Infinity; Gregory G. Joseph, Executive Vice President of Joseph Automotive Group; Harold E. Layman, retired President and CEO of Blount International, Inc.; and Samuel J. Weinhoff, insurance industry consultant. Mr. Gober, Mr. Joseph and Mr. Layman have each served on Infinity's board since 2003, while Mr. Weinhoff joined the board in 2004.
