Guy Cosmo Mid Ohio Report

Cosmo Finishes Fourth In American Le Mans At Mid-Ohio

Mansfield, Ohio - Guy Cosmo, driving the #8 Road & Track, Kumho Tire,
B-K Motorsports Mazda LMP2 car finished fourth in class for the
American Le Mans at Mid-Ohio race Sunday.

Pleased with the B-K Motorsports team's improvement and the new Kumho
tires, Cosmo talked about the weekend.

"This is the second week in a row that our Road & Track Mazda has
been great," said Cosmo. "Mid-Ohio is my favorite track - so all-in-
all, it's been a good two weeks!"

"As for the race itself," Guy continued, "I had a great stint and
really enjoyed my time in the car. Unfortunately, we had a problem
with the right-rear wheel holding us up during our routine pit stop.
That led to another visit to the pits and cost us valuable track time."
"Jamie [Bach] did a great job finishing the race," added Guy, "and we
rolled the car in the trailer without a scratch on it. We've got
some homework to do, but we're looking forward to Lime Rock."

Much of the 'buzz' before this week's event was all about the
resurfacing of the Mid-Ohio course. Guy talked about the changes to
his favorite track.

"The new surface changes at Mid-Ohio are fantastic," noted Guy. "The
track really served as a great testing bed for our new relationship
with Kumho Tires. We were able to learn a lot about the tires and
what the car wants from them. Now we have a great direction for the
next race at Lime Rock in July."

Cosmo remains in Ohio for testing this week and will head to Lime
Rock for the Memorial Day weekend Grand Am race.
