RINGERS  GLOVES RACING ROUND-UP 
Moorpark,  Calif.  - (May 23, 2006) Tons  of racing action from all over the 
country in all types of racing over the  weekend; NHRA in Columbus, ARCA in 
Toledo, the Nextel All-Star Challenge in  Charlotte, Champ Car in Monterrey, 
plus much, much more! 
NHRA  – Pontiac Performance NHRA Nationals presented by  Summit Racing 
Equipment – National Trail  Raceway, Hebron, Ohio 
Tony  Pedregon and his Q Racing Monte Carlo Funny Car team picked up their 
second  consecutive win, TP’s 31st career win in Funny Car, at National Trail  
on Sunday. 
Schumacher  Racing’s Whit Bazemore, making his first final round appearance 
of the year, had  lane choice over Pedregon, but that didn’t seem to matter as 
Bazemore  dropped an engine half track, giving Pedregon the 4.923/313.66 mph  
win. 
TP’s  win boosts him from 12th in points to sixth. 
The  “Bud Prince�?? Brandon Bernstein also picked up his second win of the 
year at  National Trail. 
Ringers  driver Bernstein made the quickest pass of the weekend in finals 
against Cory  McClenathan with a run of 4.531 seconds at 329.58 mph.  Actually, 
all his runs at National Trail  on Sunday were in the 4.5-second range.  
Bernstein’s win advances him to third in points, only 21 points out of  second. 
While  Chip Ellis collected the Ringers Gloves Pro Bike Battle No. 1 
Qualifier award on  Sunday, it was his G-Squared teammate Matt Smith who met 
Schumacher Racing’s  Angelle Sampey at the Tree in finals. 
Smith’s  Torco/Skull Gear S&S Buell didn’t have enough for Sampey’s U.S. 
Army Suzuki,  as she blew by him 7.046/188.52 mph to his 7.122/185.31 mph  run. 
Sampey  recorded her third win of the season and also regained the points  
lead. 
The  Ringers team of Titan Motorsports and driver Brad Personett shattered 
records  all weekend long en route to their win on Sunday at NHRA’s Sony XplÅ???d 
Sport  Compact event at Atco Raceway in New  Jersey. 
Personett  set the national record in his Scion tC with a 6.51 second run, 
along with the  fastest speed ever ran in the Sport Compact Series at 220.15 
mph.  This was their third win of the  season. 
NASCAR  Nextel Cup Series  – Nextel All-Star Challenge – Lowe’s  Motor 
Speedway, Concord,  N.C. 
The  Penske Racing South team of Ryan Newman and Kurt Busch both found 
themselves in  the specialty race, the Nextel All-Star Challenge at Lowe’s Motor 
Speedway on  Saturday night. 
Kurt  Busch and his No. 2 Miller Lite dodge bowed out of the event early with 
a blown  engine, handing him a 20th place finish. 
His  teammate Newman and his No. 12 Alltel My Circle Dodge endured the 
crash-filled  second portion of the race and completed all three segments of the 
non-points  race, bringing his team home in fifth. 
The  All-Star Challenge last weekend was in preparation for this weekend’s 
Coca-Cola  600. 
NASCAR  Craftsman Truck Series  – Quaker Steak & Lube 200 - Lowe’s Motor 
Speedway, Concord, N.C. 
The  Ringers team of Billy Ballew Motorsports fielded a second truck for Cup 
Series  regular Kyle “Rowdy�?? Busch in the Quaker Steak & Lube 200 at Lowe’s 
on  Friday night. 
In  his first start of the season, Busch was able to bring home the money and 
the  hardware for his surrogate No. 51 team. 
Truck  Series and Billy Ballew Motorsports regular driver Kyle Krisiloff 
brought his  No. 15 home in 17th. 
The  Ringers team of Orleans Racing and driver Brendan Gaughan came to the 
checkers  in 14th. 
Bridgestone  presents the Champ Car World Series powered by Ford – Tecate  
Grand Prix  – Fundidora  Park, Monterrey, Mexico 
Ringers  team of Newman/Haas Racing and their driver Sebastien Bourdais 
brought home the  win on Sunday in Monterrey. 
Other  Ringers teams in the field were: Andrew Ranger/Mi-Jack Conquest 
Racing, seventh;  Bruno Junqueira/Newman-Haas Racing, 10th; Charles Zwolsman/Mi-Jack 
 Conquest Racing, 12th and Nicky Pastorelli/Rocketsports,  15th. 
ARCA  RE/MAX Series – Hantz  Group 200 presented by Federated Car Care  – 
Toledo Speedway, Toledo,  Ohio 
Ringers  supporter Justin Allgaier made a charge and almost caught eventual 
winner Kenny  Schrader in the ARCA RE/MAX Series race at Toledo on Sunday.  
Allgaier held onto to finish  second.  Other Ringers notables in  the field were 
Billy Venturini finishing 11th and Country Joe  Racing’s Blake Bjorklund 
finishing 15th. 
National  Sprint Tour – Dodge  City  Raceway Park, Dodge  City, Kan. 
Donned  with UnderX by Ringers, Tim Kaeding picked up his fourth win of the 
season on  Friday night during the preliminary feature at Dodge City.  Two 
other Ringers racers cracked top-10  finishes; Shane Stewart, ninth and Brian 
Paulus,  10th. 
On  Saturday night, Kaeding wasn’t able to repeat the win from the night 
before, but  brought home a podium finish in third, while Stewart took the 
checkers in eighth  and Paulus in ninth. 
Late  Models 
Ringers  racer Chuck Barnes Jr. raced twice over the weekend, his first race 
was the  weekly Salem Speedway show in Salem, Ind., and his second was the CRA 
Super Series event at  Baer Field in Fort Wayne,  Ind.  In both events, his 
DriverX Gloves by  Ringers helped him steer to the two trophies and paydays.
